Memorise these indices and logarithms laws. Indices and logarithms are two different ways of saying the same thing. For example:

y=\log_{a}x is read as “a raised to the power of y equals x“.

that is:

a^{y}=x.

Adding and subtracting matrices

Matrix addition and subtraction is fairly simple. Just remember that we can only add or subtract matrices if they have the same dimensions. The number of rows must be equal in each matrix and the number of columns must be equal in each matrix.

What are matrices?
